The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has released the May/June 2010 National Business Certificate (NBC)/National Technical Certificate (NTC) examinations with a call for more technical colleges to be established.
NABTEB said that absence of technical colleges is a threat to Nigeria’s industrial and physical development and urged that priority attention should be given to the recruitment, training and retraining of qualified Technical and Vocational Education (TVE) personnel.
Acting Registrar/Chief Executive of NABTEB, Dr. Olatunde Aworanti who stated this at a press conference in Benin City to announce the result of the May/June, called on Christian and Muslim missions to establish Vocational and Technical Schools to engage youths and reduce the alarming crime rate.
