The resurrection power in you is the Spirit of God and His Son Jesus Christ given through the Holy Spirit in us. As we allow the spirit of God in us to take charge, it flows through us as a river of life bringing constant revival. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Romans 8:11 The same form of life that raised Jesus from the dead is in all believers.
John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
The power of resurrection in us is also the word of God in us which is the spirit of God and it quickens all in us even if it was considered dead by practitioners . John 6:63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
Using Lazarus as a case study, When Lazarus died, Mary and Martha Lazarus sister searched for Jesus Christ, immediately they saw him, the resurrection power erupted in Martha by acknowledging God, ‘she said , Lord, if thou hadst been here’ my brother had not died .When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, Jesus Christ groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, and said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.Jesus Christ therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave(Our Humility and worship makes the Spirit of God to groan and speed into action) also Martha exercised faith according to John 11:22 by saying ‘ I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee’. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone.Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh for he hath been dead four days.Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid.And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me(In all situation give thanks to God and you shall receive your miracle) . And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it,that they may believe that thou hast sent me.And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes:and his face was bound about with a napkin.Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. From this case study we see that the resurrection power in Martha acknowledging the presence of our LORD provoked the spirit of God and brought about Lazarus miracle.
(Colossians 3:1-4) If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones. (Isaiah 57:15) Revive means to give life. Revival begins with humility. Pride rejects God but humility makes a home for God. As we empty ourselves we are able to receive the life of God in us. The things that we hold in our heart which we love more than God are idols and they take up space in our heart. As we remove the things that separate us from God then He is able to occupy more of our heart. This is the process of giving up our life to receive His life.
Finally remember that resurrection power in you ‘Holy Spirit’ through Jesus the Christ is the source of all life. Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. "And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. (John 11:25-26)
