John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Romans 2:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.12And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

MESSAGE

Christians understand the need to read the Bible and to spend time in prayer and waiting on the LORD,meditate and be still, but many believers don’t understand the importance of worship. We can worship the Lord while we’re singing, while we’re praying, waiting fasting and expecting and meditating on God without spending time in worshipping the Lord in spirit and in truth.

We might ask, what is the proper way to worship. John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. We should always abstain from sin and pray for forgiveness if your conscience prickles in this perspective Roman6:1-23. Psalm 24:3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Jesus said that we MUST worship God in spirit and in truth. Anything less is unacceptable. God revealed from the beginning that He demands worship in a certain way, when He accepted Abel's worship, but rejected Cain's. So we can know that this is a very important issue, and a message that needs our full attention and understanding. If, at this moment you don't know what it means or how to worship God in spirit and truth, then please pray first and ask God to give you wisdom and to open your spiritual eyes of understanding and heart to His Biblical truth. ..... James 1:5 ....'If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.' Anything short of this enumerated above is ‘’Hypocracy and Religion exploitation’’

"Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing". Therefore, worship is not limited to a place or the performance of a ceremony. Rather, it is an inward attitude of reverence and exaltation expressed by an outward act of praise Psalm 29:2 - "Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness"). According to the passage in John 4:22-24, true worship has three characteristics. First it is sane (John 4:22) - "we know what we worship" (1 Corinthians 14:14-15, 26-33; Colossians 3:16). Second, it is spiritual (John 4:24) - "in spirit." Third, it is sincere (John 4:24) - "in truth."
We start by entering his gates with worship, praise and thanksgiving ,prior this make sure you are clean by praying for forgiveness of sin in the beginning of entering into his presence. We are outside going through the gate. I think of this as we are leaving the cares of this life behind and begin to enter into his presence with worship in our heart also it is good to be quite rather be still after worship to hear from GOD . Psalm 46:10 tells us, "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." So maybe we should be quiet.

As we begin entering into communion with the Lord, we are overwhelmed with feelings of gratitude. We enter his presence with thanksgiving. As we praise him in our heart, we think of all the good things God has done for us. This causes us to rejoice in thanks to him.

As our heart is filled with gratitude to the Lord, we find ourselves entering into his courts, the holy of holies of God’s presence. We begin to sense his power and majesty surrounding us. We have entered into that time of close communion with our Lord, our Saviour, our Healer, our Friend.

As we sense that we are in the court of the throne room of his presence, it then that our heart is filled with praise to our God. He has done so much for us, we can’t help but praise him.

After spending time alone with God,we should allow the Holy Spirit to take over in other words learn to groan in spirit and He will help you. His light shines on the dark areas of our life, and we confess them to him as we sense his holy presence. We are so thankful for all he has done for us. We realize how often we failed him, but we are so filled contrite and broken heart of repentance with his awesome presence that we have, this strong desire to turn over every dark area of our life to the one who loves us so much, He will accept us because He is a merciful Father.

Finally, as we begin to bless God and worship Him ,let us worship Him in spirit and in truth. We cannot hold back all that we are feeling toward God — our gratitude, our praise in truth. We become like David who wrote in Psalm 103:1, "Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name." We bless the Lord with all that is within us. We praise him with every part of our heart, soul and strength. Amen.
