MESSAGE
The awesome glory of Almighty God is the beauty of His spirit, inestimable holiness.
Exodus 15:11 says, "Who among the gods is like you, O LORD? Who is like you - majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?"
Amongst the glory of Almighty GOD are love, Salvation , light, eternal Life, righteousness ,holiness , ability to inhabit the praise of His people and worship by Heavenly host and saints. Isaiah 43:7 says that God created us for His glory. In context with the other verses, it can be said that man “glorifies” God because through man God’s glory can be seen in things such as love, Psalm 19:1-4 says, “The heavens are telling of the glory of God and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands; day to day pours forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words; their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their utterances to the end of the world.” Isaiah 40:5-8 And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken
Awesome Glory of God is expressed by John as he describes the eternal heaven. Revelation 21:23 says, "The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp." What a miraculous place heaven will be, illuminated by God's glory’’
Bringing glory to God was the life purpose of Jesus Christ during creation and saving us from eternal destruction. Following His birth, the angels declared the glory of God: "Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.'" (Luke 2:13-14). Glorifying God, the Father, was Jesus' role on earth. In John 8:54, Jesus said, "Jesus replied, 'If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me.'" Colosians 1:155Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature, For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Bible says in the book of Isaiah 60:1-2 "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. {2} See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you ‘’.
We can embrace GOD’s glory only when We live righteously, show love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in our lives (Galatians 5:22-23). None of these things is easy, nor do they come naturally. But through faith in Jesus Christ and grace of Almighty GOD, the transformation of our lives is possible. When we submit to His will, we bring glory to God.
POWER OF GOD
Power belongs to God, that is, solely and to none else Psalm 62:11 that power [belongeth] unto God.. He has power to create worlds, to make his subjects, to enjoin precepts, to execute penalties. Omnipotence is essentially in God. And if so, then this power is infinite, or what the Scripture calls, "the exceeding greatness of his power" (Ephesians 1:19). No creature can imitate God in this prerogative of power, just as none can forgive sins, but God alone.
The infinite and incomprehensible power pertains to the nature of God, and is expressed partly in his works. Together with his wisdom, his power is stretched out before our very eyes. He is able to do exceeding abundantly about all that we can ask of thing (Ephesians 3:20). Thus it is no wonder that Power is used as a name of God (Mark 14:62). We cannot have a conception of God, if we think him not most powerful as well as most wise; he is not a God that cannot do what he will, and perform all his pleasure. If he is restrained in his power, we imagine him limited in his essence. But if God is infinite, and indeed he is, then his power and strength must also be infinite. Jesus Christ defined the Power of GOD Matthew 26:53,54: "My Father can send twelve legions of angels (absolute power); but how then shall the Scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? God's counsel, resolution and execution of his will is expressed in Ephesians 1:11: "Who works all things according to the counsel of his own will," so that the power of God is a perfection, as it were, subordinate to his understanding and will, to execute the results of his wisdom, and the orders of his will. Creatures were the objects of his will from eternity, God has a powerful wisdom to attend his ends without interruption; he has a powerful mercy to remove our misery; a powerful justice to lay all misery upon offenders, a powerful truth to perform his promises, an infinite power to bestow rewards and inflict penalties. Thus God's power gives activity to all other perfections of his nature.
Beloved ,the only way we can embrace the glory and power of God is to remain holy and righteous, Bible says in Psalm 24 vs 3 3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. We can rededicate our lives to GOD again by coming back to HIM ,He is a merciful GOD,He will embrace us back to His Kingdom
